These quotations are in keeping with the central philosophy that will be found in all volumes of The LazyMan's GuideTM Series. However, please do not confuse this with a lack of motivation to be successful.
On the contrary, the LazyMan's PhilosophyTM is entirely about the achievement of specific goals and tasks. The core thesis of our philosophy is "to accomplish important goals and tasks with the minimum investment of our own time and resources". Our primary strategy is to get others who are experts to do most of the work for us. That is, "to profit from the knowledge and efforts of others."
